Belly button piercing tore/ infected?

Its been about 6 months since I got my bellybutton pierced. I had my boyfriend look at it and he says it looks like it tore a little bit and theres yellowish puss. I have called my piercing guy and he told me that he needs to see it to give me advice. Unfortunately I can't get out there for another like week so please tell me how to treat it. and I have been cleaning it since day 1 with this sea salt spray I bought form him.

Update:

also its not painful at all

Update 2:

yesturday it was realyl red where it tore(to the right of the hole) or went off course a lil bit. Today its pinkish like a scab without the black hard part

Just keep using the spray (I'm guessing it's H2Ocean?) or you can do sea salt soaks which will probably make it feel even better than the spray does

Just keep it clean, if the pus is yellow then it most likely is not infected

The tear just needs to heal and you'll be dandy

But do see your piercer when you can, he can help you more than internet people can ;)

technically your piercing remains healing (abdomen piercings take 6 months or greater to heal) and white would not be a coloration which you will desire to rigidity approximately. besides the fact that given which you're experiencing swelling and a undesirable scent from what's popping out, you in all probability do have an infection. does the piercing internet site sense warm to touch? if so, then actually. do sea salt soaks (one million/4 teaspoon of sea salt in line with 8 ouncesof water) till you could circulate to a doctor and get antibiotics. in spite of you do...do not TAKE OUT THE PIERCING!! in case you pick to after the an infection has cleared then it is one ingredient, yet taking it out with the an infection nonetheless recent leaves you the possibility of springing up and abscess if the piercings hollow closes.

It sounds infected. You may need to go to a doctor to get antibiotics. If it's torn, in all honesty you may have to let it grow up.

Mine got so badly infected that I just gave up and took it out after about a year. Good luck!
