Metformin to regulate cycles? personal stories pleases?

At 15 I was diagnosed with Pecos. I'm now 28. Not over weight, no diabetes. My ob and I are discussing putting me on metformin as I keep having ectopic pregnancies (they miscarried in early stage so I still have my ovary) and partial torsions due from the heaviness of the cysts, again saved ovary, I only have 2 periods a year. And have been bobtail charting for 5 years now. Does anyone have a personal story for me about their experience with metformin, good or bad is welcome. Thank you :-)

I also have PCOS and my doctor tried putting me on Metformin but it made me feel really sick! I had diarrhea almost every day and felt like I was going to throw up so I stopped taking it.

The only thing that regulated my periods was birth control.

But it works different for everyone. So try it and see how it goes :)
