Can you use a 10 volt 2amp power supply on a 9 volt 2amp device ? ?

    Yes, but put resistor in series.

    The value is: (10-9)/2 = 0.5 ohm

    wattage: (0-9) x 2 = 2 watt

    So, get 0.47 ohm, 5 watt resistor to be sure

    Yes, just be cautious of the device overheating
