There hasn't been a year for a while that that statement is less true. There is so many genuine conteners at the moment, about 6 or 7 so yeah the collingwood juggernaut are definitely not safe for the premiership at the moment thats for sure.z

In the most even competition to date it is impossible to say there is a clear favourite for the premiership, anyone in the top 8 at the moment have a realistic chance of challenging come season end. I would love to see how Collingwood would go If they actually had to travel as much as other teams

Will definitely NOT be a cakewalk. They will have to work hard for the win - ATM they are relying heavily on their midfield stars but for me their big key forwards like cloke and dawes are having relatively quiet years. Now when you look at a team like Adelaide, their midfield stars are firing AS well as their key forwards - I understand collingwood defeated Adelaide and normally do but just saying, there are other great teams in the comp and this is genuinely one of the most competitive seasons. Collingwood are definitely the team to beat at this point along with west coast, and to a lesser extent Sydney and Adelaide.

But as romper says its early days, DON'T JUMP ON TOO EARLY! trust me the ladder will change towards the end of the year - as will injuries and form

They are looking pretty good Lukeyboy, but we all know flags aren't won in June, last year ring a bell mate.

WCE, Hawthorn, Geelong, are the 3 sides who I think can genuinely challenge the Pies, lets wait and see what happens in Sept, anything can happen between now and then.

Carlton defeated Melb by 45 points,Coll 42. juggernaut? maybe you should stop playing with your 8 day clock before asking questions about Collingwood.

    cheers.

You won't have a great idea until the end of the season. There are too many upsets this season e.g. Melbourne beat the bombers.

Who says they'll even get there? There are at least 5 other teams that have as much chance as Pies.

Have a look at the ladder, take out the Woods, and then you have seven other threats at least.

Definately not, the competition is so wide open this year to label any as favourites is risky at best.
