Can anyone tell me why Sao Paulo (Saint Paul) , Brazil has that name when it's obvious it looks like Babylon?
Rising like most major metropolitan capitols/large cities of the world???

Sao Paulo was founded on Jan 25, 1554, and on that day the Catholic Church celebrates the conversion of Saint Paul. According to a letter sent by Father Jose de Anchieta:
"A 25 de Janeiro do Ano do Senhor de 1554 celebramos, em paupérrima e estreitíssima casinha, a primeira missa, no dia da conversão do Apóstolo São Paulo e, por isso, a ele dedicamos nossa casa!"
Translation: "On January 25th of the Year of the Lord 1554, we celebrated, in a very poor and little house, our first Mass, on the same day the Apostle St. Paul was converted, and, to that, we have dedicated our house!". That was the first Mass celebrated in what became to be the city of Sao Paulo; the "little house" does not exist anymore but it was located at (or close to) the Se Cathedral in Sao Paulo downtown area.
Like any large city, Sao Paulo is both "virtuous" as Saint Paul and "vicious" as Babylon; there are really virtuous, nice people down there, as well as all sort of vicious people. Remember that even St. Paul needed a "conversion" to go from "vicious" to "virtuous".
