Flares at the bottom of my 3DTV please help?

I brought a 3DTV from Amazon and it arrived a couple of days ago. The TV itself and the picture quality is excellent, however throughout the whole time that the TV is switched on there are two bright lights coming from the bottom of the screen, you can only see them when the onscreen image is dark, but it is quite distracting when trying to watch a film 2D or 3D, can you please tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Thanks a lot for any answers.

Update:

Sorry Rabino I must have not explained myself properly the lights are actually appearing on the actual screen ans they are quite bright, their not the lights you get on the frame of the TV.

It might be helpful if you said what make and model the telly is.

The fault is one of these:-

If the television has a side-lit LED screen then it's possible that a piece of light-shielding plastic has shifted out of position inside the frame. This is allowing the light from a couple of the white LEDs to escape and be refracted and reflected by the screen's glass so that you can see their glow.

    OR

If the bright spots are not at the edge and are actually part of the picture itself then you may have failed LCD panels in two of the pixels. They may have failed to "clear" and alow the back light to permanently shine through. Normally one failed pixel isn't a problem because they usually fail to black. But in your case they are spoiling your enjoyment of the telly and should be fixed.

    IN EITHER CASE

This qualifies as a fault under the guarantee. Send it back for repair or replacement, use the original packing before you throw it away. Amazon are pretty good at honouring their responsibilities so you shouldn't have to wait long before it's sorted out. The Amazon guarantee returns policy will be in the documentation or on their web site, or phone them. I don't think you have to pay.

One of the lights is there to signify that the television is switched on. Not sure what the other one is, it would be to tell you something about the settings in the tv most likely. It is normal, and it is likely that you would need to change a setting in the tv if it was possible to turn it off.
