Queensland Origin Injury Replacements?

Game 2- Queensland & NSW punished each other! I'm proud Queensland supporter and admired the effort of NSW last-night, in particular Robbie Farah, Tim Grant & Todd Carney. The collisions were heavy and forced errors from Queensland, which ultimately got NSW over the line.

Question:

* If Billy Slater PCL Injury is serious, who replaces him?

* Providing Greg Inglis moves to fullback, who replaces him at Left Center?

* Corey Parker & Sam Thaiday, who replaces them from the bench?

* If Brent Tate is injured & Darius Boyd moves to Left Center, who replaces wing position?

- Options:

Fullback: Ben Barba, Greg Inglis or Darius Boyd

Left Center: Greg Inglis, Darius Boyd, Matt Gillett or Ben Teo

Right Wing: Brent Tait, Ashley Graham, Justin O'neill or Chris McQueen

Bench Forwards: Ben Teo, Aiden Guerra, Josh McGuire, Martin Kennedy or Jacob Lillyman

Well you've pretty much answered your own question there, I wouldn't have asked for any better replacements myself.

Theres a good chance they will play Inglis at Fullback, last night he had hardly any space to move and the Blues were on him the whole night (bar the try) so why not move him to fullback for the first half and see how he goes and then have him swap with Boyd if it's not working well. The only possible problem would be his defense and pace there say against Hayne (which put a massive step on him) or even Morris or B Stewart.

Gillet or Teo would set in perfectly in the centre position and Lillyman/McGuire would also be perfect in the Forwards department as they've tasted Origin before and they're playing pretty good this year.

Just as Swoope said you have pretty much answered your own question , seriously i don't thinkk QLD will have too many probs finding replacements for their injured players. Slater is hard to replace but i am sure Inglis will excell at fullback, and i don't think i have seen Billy put together 2 off games ( you must admit he has not done much in game 1 or game 2) in his career, but he is human , and Parker would have made way for Thiadays return, so i don't think QLD will be effected at all. Slater will play in the 3rd game , put your house on it. Oh and Congrats NSW great effort, but will have to find a form kicker, teach Uata to catch ( what the hell was he thinking??) and lift another 20% to get the money in the third game in Brizzy. But i believe NSW have a good chance of taking out the series this yr, hope so i think the Toads are getting sick of holding the shield up, what do they say "a change is as good as a holiday " Go the Blues !!!!

Fullback: Would like to see Barba debut, but Queensland would probably put Inglis at fullback.

LC: Gillet and Teo are two great options they have for the LC position.

Bench: Got to move Dave Taylor

Boyd at fullback or wing. Never seen him play centre so he would be a novice their. Personally, I'd take a punt and play Barba at fullback. !: he has been playing well there for the Dogs and two it won't see the backline having to change. A possible change would be Prince to halfback. He played there when Lockyer was injured and Thurston moved to five eight. They combined well something that does look a problem for Cronk and Thurston.

Thaiday in and the coal train to the bench.
