Should Obama have created more government jobs like other Presidents did to make the recovery look better?

    Yes, the loss of government jobs was a drag on the economy. He should have given more aid to the states to delay the reckoning until the recovery was stronger.

    Getting rid of public sector jobs has been an enormous talking point for the republican party for 30 years.

    Surprise, surprise, when the rubber hits the road they abandon the cause...
