can i pay a traffic ticket at any court clerk ?

and could my gf go pay it for me while im at work ? or do i have to be there ? i plan to contest the ticket .

so i was wondering i got the ticket far from my house (bout 2 hour drive) and was wondering if i can pay it at the superior court clerks office by my house . the ticket says a court of the city i got it in .

i live in southern cali .

i just want to pay it and plea not guilty for now and i kno i have to appear at the court of the city i got the ticket in . can i just pay the ticket at any other traffic court clerk office ?

    Did you mistype your question? If you plan to contest the ticket, you have to appear at the courthouse where the citation was filed. If you do NOT plan to contest it, you can take care of it all online, including signing up for traffic school which will avoid the DMV point and any insurance consequences.
