Translate "We are young" into Spanish. ?

Ok, so in the song "we are young" by Fun they say "tonight we are young". Does it make a difference since they are young temporarily and they are not really young to use estar or ser. So my question is in this case would it be "estamos jóvenes" or "somos jóvenes". Thank you.

    Somos jóvenes.

"ser" can be a permanent state, or a stage of something you are going through in your life.

    Soy americano. (permanent state)

Soy estudiante. ( a stage in your life)

Soy jóven. (a stage in your life)

"estamos jóvenes" sounds weird / suena raro

"somos jóvenes" would be the correct form / sería la forma correcta

Somos jóvenes . Because it's temporary.
