Why ignore Thomas's Gospel?
I mean.. it's obviously the earliest textual record of the words of Jesus from all of the available texts... and it even starts off by saying:
Here are the [secret] words which Jesus the Living spoke an[d which were transcribed by Didymus Jude] Thomas......
Why don't Christian people like Thomas?

It's spurious writing and is not part of the inspired word of God written through yielded human instruments led by God the Holy Spirit.
Thomas was a wonderful character in scripture, but God did not inspire him to contribute to His word, the Bible.

Because the Holy Spirit did not guide the bishops of the Catholic Church to include it (and a number of other gospels) when they were compiling the Holy Bible. The 73 divinely inspired texts they selected under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, nothing more and nothing less, constitute the Canon of Christian Scripture, the Holy Bible.
