Do you find this Gospel alluring?

The passage 'Thomas 90' is not part of the books of the Bible. However, a similar passage is recorded by Matthew:

28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30.

This is an invitation by Jesus to the ordinary Jews, who were oppressed by the priests. Jesus gives an option to the Jews. First option continue to be a Jew and be subjected to the priests of the Temple, continue to be oppressed by them. Second option is to accept Jesus and his words and follow him. Of course, a responsibility is going to be borne by them, but it is very light compared with the slogging they do to satisfy the priests at the Temple.

I don't find it alluring. I don't choose to read it actually, because it is not part of the inspired writings. But that's just my personal thoughts. Nothing against you. ;)
