Most probably Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is referred to electrical engg so if u choose EEE u would obviously learn electronics too. Even otherwise, if your course is just Electrical Engineering it would involve many electronics modules; in fact the basic circuit theories for both electrical and electronics are the same. So if you study electrical you would definitely be eligible for almost all electronic fields, of course with a few exceptions.

Electrical Engineering covers the following topics:
Power Engineering
Control Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Microelectronics Engineering
Signal processing Engineering
Communications Engineering
Instrumentation
Computers
Electronic Engineering covers the finer points that a normal Electrical course would not cover.
if you are only interested in electronic engineering and decide to do a electrical apprenticeship, you will spend 80% of your time NOT doing electronic engineering. So if you don't like designing antennas, electrical motors, negative feed back control systems, signal analysis, power transfer generation, etc...
i advise you not to do the electrical internship, that stuff will be demanding and a chore if you are not interested in that
