Is this okay for my piercings?
I got three helix piercings last week and i was told to do the sea salt with hot water. Is it okay to get a cotton ball wet with hot water and get a bunch of sea salt on it and soak it on my piercings and leave the salt on but dry the water? It itches a little with it on but it seems like it'll help. Does it?

You need to actually soak the piercing. Mix 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water and put it into a clean bowl (double the solution if necessary) and tilt your head to the side and get your ear in the bowl so the piercings will actually soak. Cotton balls can leave fibers on your piercing and it's not as effective to just hold the cotton ball up to your ear as it is to soak the piercing.

I think it is better to dissolve the sea salt into the hot water, so when you soak your piercings it will get the salt and keep it there until it dries.
