I am pretty sure that atheists don't even believe in Satan. Come on now. You can keep whatever faith you like but don't tell others they are wrong unless you want to be criticized as well.

If not believing in a religion whose members can't spell is the work of the devil, there's a lot of that going around.

I'd rather deal with rational atheists any day of the week than a bunch of brainwashed religious ninnies who believe everything some bible-banging minister tells them. Do you realize that most preachers are practicing a form of mass hypnosis that bypasses the critical function of your left brain?

Atheists at least THINK about what they believe. I know some Christians do, too -- and I agree with what Jesus actually taught. But most of today's so-called Christians who are preaching hate in JC's name are the modern version of the Scribes and Pharisees. You wave your book around but you have no kindness in your heart.

I find that the idea of hellfire, brimstone and eternal damnation along with being obedient to a god which sanctions murder and the slaughter of millions of people will 'drag' people down more than the lack of belief in said god.

We're not trying to drag anyone down, we're trying to show them logic in reason, instead of superstition and fairy tales.

Ya- and that's why Christians say every one else goes to hell besides them. Christians are too good for the rest of us.
