People hating Multiculturalism?

It is preferable to some people to preserve their culture and avoid cross-cultural tensions that can arise.

Also, not all cultures are the same and don't mix well. To use an extreme example to convey a point, a perniscuous, cannibal culture mixed with a culture that is heavily an abhramic religious one would probably end badly.

Until your raised in a multicultural society you can never understand

the only time Iv ever had a problem with it is when in Ontario Canada(where Im from) some schools wont let kids have christmas concerts and celebrate halloween because it conflicts with other cultures beliefs. Im all for it, but if you move to a country you should try and adapt.

It has its pros and cons. The people that are against it probably focus on the cons or see more cons from their viewpoint; the converse is so for those that are totally and blindly for it.

I like elements of multiculturalism, but some are for the birds.
