Pregnancy conception date help...?

If intercourse occurred on march 31st, can I be about 10 weeks? The obgyn says the sonogram said 10 weeks on the 17th of this month, and no other unprotected sex occurred before or after for over 3 weeks.

No. Pull out a calendar and count. When was your last period?

Pregnancy is dated from your LMP date. So if doctor said 10 weeks, count back 10 weeks and that would be the estimated LMP date, and conception would have taken place an estimated 2 weeks after that date. So by my calendar, if an ultrasound dated you at 10 weeks on June 17 then 10 weeks prior would give an estimated LMP date around April 8th and conception around 8 weeks ago near April 22nd. An ultrasound wouldn't be off by 3+ weeks when performed at this point in the pregnancy.

Just remember that because doc's can't determine the exact date that you concieved...they calculate your pregnancy from THE LMP. Lotta count from their missed MP or from the date that they believe they got preg...women confuse themselves because of this.
