Laptop to TV HDMI connection issues?
Lately in the middle of watching a movie via the HDMI connection, the tv screen goes black and then says " NO SIGNAL". I disconnect and reconnect the cable, tune tv on and off to no avail. I end of having to reboot computer to get back to watching the show. What could be wrong?
It's not sleep mode. I wonder if my laptop is overheating.

This may sound stupid but does your]computer screen go black and then the TV screen...I have a similar problem but I have never had to reboot my laptop just need to wake it up...
If this isn't the case there may be something wrong with the computer itself, as I am sure the HDMI cord wouldn't affect the computer but I could be wrong..in any case as this seems to be happening a lot to you call the store/company ur cord is from maybe they can help..also try and contact the maker of your computer they may have been asked this question before :)
