I asked this question several months ago and got only one response. So here we go again.?

In the spirit of liberal affirmative action "fairness" should the game show Jeopardy base the difficulty of the questions on the contestant's minority (aka victim) status?

Update:

Slushfund: Ah yes, the typical liberal tactic of ignore the question and then make personal attacks.

Update 2:

Shovel Ready: As always you make an excellent point!

NO! Affirmative action is used to correct past discrimination. Especially in schools and public places. In fact the supreme court will not allow affirmative action to be used when it isn't obvious that minority were previously discriminated their.

Source(s): Took an AP government course and wrote two papers on affirmative action.

Maybe the reason you didn't get many answers is that this question makes an obviously racist assumption. And in fact, the only purpose of the question, as far as I can tell, is to promote that racist assumption.

Edit: the reason I ignore the question is that I know, just like everyone else reading this question, that you don't really give a damn about the Jeopardy game show.

I say yes, only because you are such a fan of Jeopardy,

enjoy the visual : A naked Alex Trebek chasing an intruder.

No, because nobody can measure that objectively.

Instead, minority contestants should just be awarded as specific number of free points.

Then everyone can see how much advantage the minority contestant is really receiving.

that's hilarious, if jeoparty was a government run game show that's probably how it would be formatted.

but it is not, and one must know common knowledge in order to succeed at jeopardy

Maybe a different category would be a better choice for this type of question.
