How do you piece together videos you have recorded on your computer?

I play guitar, keyboard mandolin and sing. I was just wondering if anyone could help me on this :)

Here's a few examples. either way would be good :) Thanks!! :D

That is called the Picture in Picture effect used in the top and bottom videos, although the last one can be pulled off with a little ingenuity and a good NLE.

This is the effect in the lower one - http://youtu.be/3Bz2dKgN_i8

And this the start of how to do the first one - http://youtu.be/z9RXqgkAZgM

This video shows the rest - http://youtu.be/v2dZNHKU0GE

This is how it is done with Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate, a $80 video NLE program that runs on Windows OS. That said, on YouTube, there are links to free downloads of this program if you go look for them

I would use Windows Live Movie Maker (http://windows-live-movie-maker.en.softonic.com/). You can splice the videos together and it's free. I don't know what to do with the sound, but I'm sure you could find out how to do it if you google it.
