Which is better: Windows XP Firewall, or Avast! Anti-Virus Pro Firewall?
It seems these two sub-programs are conflicting on my computer, and only one of them can be running. I'd like to know which one is more effective, if either?

avast is one of the best anti-virus programs out there. its definitely better than windows. ive been using it for 4 years now and not one virus

Any third party firewall is better than windows firewall...In fact, any third party security software is better than any microsoft crap.
