Why does plants that have completed their Annual Life Cycle set seeds that doesn't grow ?

    can you give the name of the plant that its seeds don't grow...each plant has its own way of seeds treatment.

    Some seeds have to be frozen to germinate. So they are dormant until after winter then will grow in the spring.

    quite often the seeds of hybrids are sterile and cannot grow
