Why should Blizzard care about D3 customers?
Am I missing something? The game is paid for. The website is full of pissed-off people about the patch 1.03, but there are no subs and no refunds. Players can do nothing but whine about whatever changes Blizzard wants to make from now on.

Gamers just need to stop being entitled. If someone received really bad service for their phone or something that's understandable that they'd complain about it because it's a phone, but Diablo 3 is just a game. Gamers aren't real consumers, so they really have no right to complain if the product they paid for is faulty.

/sigh
You know consumer rabble is so full crap. No offense, but if you feel that Blizzard doesn't care about their customers, then I seriously implore ALL gamers to stop playing games forever and go do something that requires no customer support, such as sports outside on the field with friends.
I know I am going to get voted down for my comment here, because most gamers I've come across don't know crap and whine and whine and call out on the game developers as being inconsiderate and doesn't care, etc, etc, etc, blah blah blah...
Look, it's so simple...
Most gamers whine because most gamers:
1) Are impatient, they can't be bothered to wait a few hours for servers to go up.
2) Are clueless how testing a game works. Most gamers don't understand that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to find and fix all bugs in a big complicated game before it gets released. Find me ONE game that interacts with servers, has over 10,000 people connected to it at one time and is over 5GB these days that has ZERO bugs. You cannot find it. I GUARANTEE IT.
3) Feel they are entitled to a game that provides ENDLESS fun. What the hell does that mean? So if a game does not provide endless fun, then it suddenly makes it crap? Some fools think that spending 60+ hours on the game and then finding it boring meant the game sucks. Hell, if you spent 30 hours on the game, I say the game did its job for providing fun.
4) DO YOU SERIOUSLY think that 6 million people who bought Diablo 3, in which hundreds of that whine and flame on the web site and thousands of them constantly call Blizzard support and in which tens of thousands of them constantly send tickets out will be quickly answered by only a handful of tech support?
Name me ONE COMPANY that can do that: instant help that services hundreds of thousands of customers all at once. I BET you cannot find any. NO COMPANY in the world hires ten thousand customer support staff. They will go broke before the first ten calls to customer support is even made.
5) ALL gaming companies read and listen to feedback. THAT is how they get a following of players. If you seriously think that game companies ignore feedback, you are seriously ignorant.
There is a REASON why Diablo 3 sold 6 million copies within the first week and that wasn't because they ignored customer feedback for the last ten years. If a company seriously ignored customer feedback, they WILL NEVER be able to produce quality games and they will NEVER gain enough momentum for gamers to even think twice about their games.
6) MOST gamers that whine and flame are the same people who's view in the world is extremely narrow and close minded. They look at everything without a peripheral vision. They are extremely shallow and extremely noisy.

Been playing games since the mid 1980's. The only complaint I ever made against Blizzard is that one out of five of the customer support staff was unhelpful.

If they want people to keep giving their money and buy their products in the futre, then the smart thing to do is listen to customers. That game won't be new forever, and there will be something new from them eventually.
