I'll answer questions as they need to be answered. Sometimes it's nice, most times it's not, but the best things for us to eat never taste good. This world is full to the eye-balls with bullshit, I won't be apart of that.

  • Is there a reliable online source of isopropyl alcohol 70%?

I haven't been able to find any in stock in the stores in my area since this stupid virus mess started (same with disinfectant spray and wipes).  Before it was about $1.50 to -$1.75, now the only stuff I can find is online and ridiculously over-priced (two dollars for the bottle, 15 dollars for shipping per bottle).

  • Is time speeding up?

I was talking to a friend about some important events (wedding, class reunion) and neither one of us could believe how much time had gone by since those events. For example, I went to NC a year ago last September, but it doesn't feel like a year. I thought it was just me until I talked to other people who are experiencing the same feeling. I know a question like this begs to be trolled but hopefully some serious answers will come too.

  • What can a computer science graduate do besides programming?

Just trying to get some advice on what other options are available for those who don't like writing code for a living. Thanks.

  • Part-time business advice.?

I was thinking of starting a pressure-washing business (homes, local business parking lots, etc) to do part time, but don't have any experience in doing so (by part time I mean around 4 days/week). I don't yet own a pressure washer and would also appreciate some advice in that area as well as far as what I should purchase. Also, what is a fair fee to charge clients for such service? Thanks for any help.

  • Why is my machine freezing?

I just got a new machine in a few days ago and everything seems great until I install some games and try to play them. I installed Max Payne 3 (MP3) and Diablo 3 (D3). When MP3 starts, the entire PC shuts down (restarts all the way from BIOS), and D3 goes okay until there is a lot happening on the screen, then the PC shuts down as with MP3. I formatted my main drive, reinstalled everything and updated all drivers, and ran the Windows 7 Memory test program (zero problems detected).

Everything runs okay until I try to play a game. My best guess is that something is overheating (graphics card or processor). I tried speeding up the fans in BIOS but I don't think I've changed anything. Anyway, just looking for someone to save my life so that I don't have to ship this thing back.

  • Why should Blizzard care about D3 customers?

Am I missing something? The game is paid for. The website is full of pissed-off people about the patch 1.03, but there are no subs and no refunds. Players can do nothing but whine about whatever changes Blizzard wants to make from now on.

  • Why a primary drive and data drive?

It's been awhile since I updated myself with on computer hardware and was wondering why this is necessary on new computers. Also, how does it work? If I'm running Win7, does what I save on the primary SSD get saved onto the data HDD? Alright, thanks.

  • What is an analogous split complementary color scheme?

The assignment (create a mandala) is as follows:

"Use an analogous split-complementary color scheme, with dominant and subordinate/ and subordinate/accent proportions. Saturation must be controlled and used in small amounts."

I can't find any actual examples of an analogous split-complementary color scheme and am confused as to what that would actually look like. I was going for a yellow-analogous-split complementary color scheme in my assignment but am confused as to what colors that would consist of. Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Bank won't pay court judgment.?

(Skip to the third paragraph unless you want to know the history of the situation.)

One of my debit cards stopped working a couple of months ago and I went to the bank today to get it replaced (thinking that the magnetic strip had gone bad). The teller takes the card and informs me that my account has been overdrawn and closed. I tell her that this was impossible since I had done absolutely nothing with the account other than deposit $50 into it when I opened it in July 09. "Absolutely" here meaning that I never used the card, never withdrew/deposited into/out-of the account, nothing. I opened the account during a "free account" promotion with the idea of just having a backup account.

Anyway, the teller informs me that the bank's policy is that unless I used the card a minimum of 5 times every month, the bank would deduct 11 dollars out of the account for that month. Of course I was not told that this would happen at the time that I opened the account or I would have told them to kiss my ***. Unknown to me, the bank quietly ate my $50 and added $172.88 to the tab before they closed the account for overdraft and reported me to a collections agency (this according to the manager).

I took the bank to court in May of this year and the jury decided in my favor, awarding me the money that they stole plus the court fees. I have not heard from bank nor received my money from them. I'm just trying to figure out my next step here. Thanks for any advice. By the way, the bank is First National Bank (a.k.a First Convenience Bank), and I suggest it be avoided by anyone looking for a place to keep their money.

  • Why Is Everyone So Excited About Win7?

I just spent two hours with it and went back to XP, It appears to have the same compatibility issues as Vista (for the latest versions of the programs that I need) even when you try to get it to run the program as an XP application. The UI is as frustrating as Vista was. For instance, the new Control Panel is a mess to me, and I could see no way to change it to classic view. The taskbar is retarded. You have a huge one-click button for shut down but have to got to the little arrow for other log-off options Most of these were reasons why I dropped Vista and never looked back. Can someone please explain to me why a lot of people seem to think that 7 is going to retire XP? What am I missing?

  • How much do I charge for a t-shirt design?

I'm just trying to figure out how much is a fair price to ask for when any of the designs that I submit are use. Also, should I draw up a contract for when we reach an agreement? Thanks for any advice.

  • Former Employer Won't Mail my W2?

After trying to get in contact with them, I informed the IRS and they sent a formal request to my former employer for the W2 but I still have not received anything from the employer. The IRS mailed me a Form 4852 and told me to send it back to them (IRS) if I had not heard from my former employer within x-amount of time before April 15. The problem is that I don't have a lot of the information they ask for on the form. The form indicates that it is a estimation, but still asks for information that would only be on a W2. At a loss as to what more to do, I got an extension on the 4/15 due date.

As for contacting the former employer myself, they don't answer the phone. Is not a fly-by-night type job. It is a major corporation. HR doesn't have a direct phone number so people have to contact the front desk, which is then supposed to transfer you to HR. The problem is that nobody ever answers the front desk line. They keep all employee information (including W2 and paystubs) in online accounts to save themselves money but I have been unable to access my account since I was terminated.
