Why is my machine freezing?

I just got a new machine in a few days ago and everything seems great until I install some games and try to play them. I installed Max Payne 3 (MP3) and Diablo 3 (D3). When MP3 starts, the entire PC shuts down (restarts all the way from BIOS), and D3 goes okay until there is a lot happening on the screen, then the PC shuts down as with MP3. I formatted my main drive, reinstalled everything and updated all drivers, and ran the Windows 7 Memory test program (zero problems detected).

Everything runs okay until I try to play a game. My best guess is that something is overheating (graphics card or processor). I tried speeding up the fans in BIOS but I don't think I've changed anything. Anyway, just looking for someone to save my life so that I don't have to ship this thing back.

    Hi,

There are a couple of things you can do, one is to contact the supplier / manufacturer as try their tech support as the pc is under warranty.

The other is to try this :-

    Antifreeze

    http://www.resplendence.com/downloads

Have a look at the info it appears that you may be able to get out of the freeze and see what is going on.

I've not tried it yet but it looks like a really useful piece of kit if it works.

Your system configuration exceeds far more than the requirements of these games ,it may be affected by a malware,b'coz when i run C.S. on my PC, it started and ended up unexpectedly,(Formatting main drive wouldn't help if the malware is in another partition) then i installed "Malwarebytes" in my system,it cleaned malwares (Mainly registry objects which were defected due to malware).I just scanned with it,removed all malwares and run the game,it asked for administer permission,i granted it,and the game worked fantastically, and it did't used high resources also.So try it!May help!

(You can find malwarebytes here -

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Malwarebyte...

) and after installing this,i didn't ever needed any antivirus, but the windows firewall and my system is working Awsome! If you want to make your PC resistant for registry errors permanantly so ask me @ prasadaniljadhav@gmail.com (Malwarebytes is also not bad but it'll take at least 1% of your CPU,whereas my tip is the system configuration itself.)

Remove the .Net framework from your software programs and re download and install the .Net 4 from Microsoft.
