Yes and even more, All the New Classes are in Ishgard, to Access Ishgard, you have to compltete the story up to v2.55 Ending.
Which means the 7th Umbral Era (Lvl 1-50) Story Quest, and the 7th Astral Era (iLvl45 to iLvl 90) Quest Lines. The game gives you Mythology Gear Set (iLvl 90 armor) at level 50 to lessen the burden and to just follow the quests.

Wow, yeah I just unsubbed. I have a SCH/SUM at level 40 but I just can't take it anymore. I may come back later but there's just so much mindless fate grinding I can take. So sorry I bought this xpac without researching this better. What a stupid way to make a game. It's like MMO devs across the world are taking the same drugs.these days.
