that is the real truth as most of these cars when they get to 10 years old have had some rough lives so tend to be rubbish which is all you will get for even 2500 pounds.

With a phrase like "I need a fast sports car jut for the weekends" you sound too young to insure any of those cars, get quotes on them first! However, for £2000, they won't be in great condition, and you'll still be spending big money on servicing twice a year even with just a few miles on the weekends stuck in traffic.

Whatever you get at that price will be a worn smooth ruin.

Forget the badge on the boot lid and concentrate on condition, no -one buys these cars to go shopping in, any of them will have been well thrapped by a succession of ever more financially strapped owners by the time they've got down to the 2 grand mark.

Nissan all the way for me reliable fast and just love em, the subaru does have issues with reliablilty and the Mitsubishi well u dont need to be tied with a drug dealer stigma do you,

i would go gtr one its an amazing rare car and two it has pottential to be even faster then the other two you listed.
