They're too busy using Bush as an excuse to realize how hypocritical they've become.
Sad, but true.

Normally I'd agree with you. I think a president's business is The People's business.
But I don't think we've ever had a president who faced quite the same partisan challenge as Obama. The Republicans have made it clear, they'd said right out loud, that limiting Obama to a single term is their highest priority, a higher priority than doing the job they were elected to do. There is no sabotage the Republicans can think of that they won't try. No lie so obvious that they won't repeat it over and over. And they have nearly unlimited funds this year.
I used to think the whole idea of 'Executive Privilege' was invented by Nixon, but I've been reading about it and apparently I was wrong. MANY presidents have used it, Nixon just invented the term 'executive privilege'.
Besides, it was GW Bush who decided the Constitution was never meant to limit the power of a president, that it was just a 'quaint' old collection of voluntary guidelines. Where was your outrage then?

The Bush administration invoked executive privilege six times in 8 years. Obama has invoked it 1 time in 3.5 years.

I think we all realized that Obama was not going to have any transparency in his administration.
