Can you run Google Chrome from LiveCD Linux?

I think I'm going to try running Linux from a livecd to test it out, and wanted to know if I would be able to run Chrome. If so, is there anything specific I need to know or do?

Not all linux distros have google chrome on the live cd. You would have to download and install it. It would run in that case. The next time that you run the live cd chrome would not be installed but you would have to redownload and reinstall it.

If you want any changes that you make while using the live cd you should use the live usb. It has what is called persistence: any changes that you make will persist on the next reboot. Check the pendrivelinux.

Depends on which Linux you're trying. Most Linux livecds come with Firefox, but you might be able to install Chrome in the live desktop.
