Of course it's not right. Hypocrisy and double standards.. Look at what they did to Anwar al-Awlaki, who was a US citizen. Target and execution without trial. That'd never happen to Christian US citizen. That is why the US military was being taught that they need to kill Muslims (even innocents).

Whether Christian, Muslim, Jew or any other misguided "believer," all haters and terrorists hate themselves. And it's Psychology 101 that haters will place the blame on somebody else. And murder is always an act of insanity. A simple screw loose in the brain.

That said, still we're all personally responsible for our actions...and not some mythical God.

Yes, you do seem to be in a state of trance if you think a Muslim who did what Anders Breivik did wouldn't receive a trial. Also, when a Christian does this it's an aberration. That's why they're labeled as a lunatic. When a Muslim does it it's become just one more commonplace alternative to actual political discourse and is part of a concerted effort by secretive groups of violent, murderous fanatics. That's possibly why you perceive a difference, bright one.

When the attacks happened, the first "unsubstantiated report" was that it was a islamic group responsible. I remember talking with co-workers that were saying things like "doesn't surprise me", "they should be killed" etc. Even some mainstream news outlets started talking along these lines.

Then when it turned out to be a Christian, right-wing racist, the term "wack-job" and "lone-wolf" became the norm.
