It is not natural. The guy has filled the conversation with so many cliches it sounds like a country western record. Is he just telling you what you want to hear? Do you feel he is sincere? He sounds corny.

None of the above. He is a "stringer". This dude is an online "chat buddy" to you, and nothing more. You still don't believe me? Ok, go and visit him, and do it unannounced... go and SURPRISE him... I know you yourself will be the one to be surprised.
