This question is for anyone experienced in antivirus software purchasing.?

So I"m looking at several companies antivirus software. It seems every company has 3 different products:

1. Antivirus

2. Internet security

3. Complete protection

My question is: Are these 3 separate products, or does the Internet security and Complete protection packages include everything underneath them (the antivirus and internet security)?

Update:

I'm looking at products such as:

Bitdefender

Kaspersky

Webroot Secureanywhere

Norton

All of them seem to have 3 or more products, and I don't know if one is exclusive to another, or if they are tiered, meaning one can include all the features of another.

Update 2:

I'm looking at products such as:

Bitdefender

Kaspersky

Webroot Secureanywhere

Norton

All of them seem to have 3 or more products, and I don't know if one is exclusive to another, or if they are tiered, meaning one can include all the features of another.

    Antivirus is separate from

spyware (keyloggers and such) scan / detection is separate from

malware scan / detection is separate from

    internet security software.

"Complete protection" is almost always inclusive of antivirus. And you should confirm this with them.

Oh, and they will want you to renew a "subscription" with them "annually", so work that out with them too. Once your subscription runs out, the software stops updating, and your protection rapidly erodes.

They're separate. Kaspersky has Kasperksy Antivirus.. they have Kaspersky Internet Security then they have the best they have, the Total/Complete security etc.

Antivirus is the most basic. You might wanna get the INternet Security one if you're just a simple internet user like me. You wont really need the complete edition

Kaspersky is the top AV on the market, and Kaspersky pure is all you need.

You can get it cheaper here than the official site:

    http://www.amazon.com/Kaspersky-Lab-PUR903111-Pure...

Or Bitdefender. Werbroot, and norton are not good AV products.

No matter which AV you chose, you should also get MBAM pro for maximum protection, it's only 25 dollars for a lifetime license.

Antivirus software is simply Antivirus & Anti-Spyware.

Internet security usually is Antivirus protection and a firewall with additional protection as well

Complete protection is all of them combined.
