computer starting but monitor not working (1 beep)?

my computer starts i hear one beep (not long) but my monitor isnt showing anything all my fans and everything is working can some one please help me out :''''(

Update:

ITS NOT MY RAM IT SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME BEFORE I SWAPPED A NEW GPU AND A NEW PSU!!

    Is that an additional beep to the post beep which you should have, as said check all your connections and re-seat your ram and video card

    One beep means RAM problem. You need to check RAM modules

    If everything seems OK then it could be your monitor

    try it on a different Computer.
