Car Amp Wont turn back on?
I was driving and my subs and everything were working properly. I got back in my car and the subs were playing very faintly. I went back and look at my amp and the light was on, but there was barely any bass . It's been in the 90's around here, and i noticed that the amp felt like it was on fire, so i removed it and let it cool down in some AC. I re-connected it and now the amp wont even turn on. I checked all the connections from the amp and also the remote wire in the back of my head unit. Any idea what might be going on?

how do you say cooked amplifier, next time use (rf tech woofer wiring wizard)to wire your amp and subs to an ohms load both can handle.the lower the ohms the bigger the hit on all of your equipment and charging system.running a set of 8 ohm 12s wired to a 4 ohm load and the amp just about gets warm and its been in the 90s here.

since the remote turn on is connected the amp i would have to say you may have fried your amp. sorry to tell you but that is what it sounds like.

Did you verify that you have +12v at your terminals with a DMM?
Did you check your main power fuse? Even if it looks good, there are cases where it could be a blown fuse.
