Miss out on the Pierre McGuire drinking game? I needed something to do besides the Brian Burke Necktie Watch. However, Burke telling Brian Murray in 2009 "is that the one you want? We're taking him." was awesome to the power of 100.

I do think the TSN panel would be funnier if they were drinking. It would make the last 10 picks a lot more interesting.

BQ: Well, there is the whole issue of not getting picked and looking like an idiot. Being someone who wears a suit 4-5 days a week, I keep thinking "why doesn't the kid take the suit jacket off while he's hugging his mum and dad and his soon-to-be-ex-girlfriend and have them mind it?" If I have to get up out of my chair to do something, I just leave the suit jacket in my office, and more often than not, the thing doesn't grow legs and it's where I left it.

As one of my tweeter friends commented "Another perfect pick!! and I thought the entry draft was a crap shoot."When the TSN crew added every-body's second choice as GM and Coach to their draft line up, probably to appease NBC the show went rapidly down hill.

I watched the Jays thump the Marlins and flipped back on occasion to see the picks. Watching grass grow is not my favourite hobby.

BA: Hockey players, in Canada at least, have traditionally worn shirt and ties whenever they travelled to out of town games. Not sure when it started but I did it, my kids did it, and my grandchildren are going to be starting it soon. Robbie Ftorek and his casual attire was always a different style.
