How much prison time should Sandusky be given?
Now that he's been found guilty on 45 of the 48 counts against him and the sentencing part of the trial will begin, how much time do you think he deserves? How much time do you think he'll actually be given?
D squared: there's a big part of me that thinks your solution is too good for him because it's over with too quickly.

Well he will get over 400 years when all is said and done. Realisticly he will die in prison well before he serves out the sentence obviously..

He'll be given a lot of time - time enough to die in prison. He's really a strange bird; one watches in amazement how he seems to just 'not get it.' He always seems reasonably well composed.
If I were just facing any sort of felony charge, I'd likely be a nervous wreck, but this guy was facing over 50 counts of charges related to 'child rape' and he seems very calm -even smiles politely like it's just another sunny day. One wonders how he will cope with life in prison. He has hurt a lot of people in this lifetime. One wonders if he feels relieved at some level that he's been caught and put away. Unfortunately, I don't see much humanity in his demeanor. I just know that he needs to be in prison for the rest of his life. He is still a danger to others. He just doesn't 'get it.'

He should be put in a cell and the door to the cell bricked up.
My guess is that the judge will sentence him to consecutive prison terms for each of the 45 counts, which means he will never get out.

He will probably end up getting consecutive sentences of over 400 years. There is also a 99.99% chance that it will be an illegal sentence. So overall I would say he will end up with a 15 to 25 year term giving him a tiny chance of being released.

Well, he is 68 years old and the average life span is 78. So definitely for life. What's left of it.

I wouldn't give him prison time. Just 5 feet of rope and a bucket to stand on, then kick over.

The rest of his life. And that's what the news is reporting -- that he won't see the light of day again. Which is just as it should be.

You rude little person.
