When I delete an online game icon from my desktop, does it just delete the icon only?

when you have an icon on your desktop, that's a shortcut to the game, deleting it will only delete the shortcut, and not the game

When you delete the icon from your computer, you are no longer deleting the application you are simply deleting the shortcut to that program. If you do not want your desktop cluttered you could just make a folderr for the icons and keep the folder on the laptop.

The icon is only a shortcut to the game, like for example if you added google to you favourites, and the deleted it, it would still be accesable, youd just have to search for it.

So if you delete the icon, nothin bad will happen, only when you want to play that game, youd have to find it on your hardrive(which takesa few seconds) go ahaed, delete the icons

Deleting the icon does not remove the entire game it just removes the Icon.

It only deletes the icon. To delete the game, you have to go to start<control panel<uninstall a program.

Yes and if you ever want to remove it Simply go to start, control panel, and click add or remove programs. Then click the game and click remove
