Is my car "supercharged"??? Mustang Lx 4 cylinder 2.3 liter?
My friend asked if my cars supercharged anyways (obviously I tell the insurance no lmao) but it has a k&n intake to bring extra air to the engine to help it breathe. And the definition of supercharged online is doing a modification to bring more air to the engine to help it perform faster and harder and it not hurt it as much. Sooo....help me? Lol its an 89 for mustang Lx 4 cylinder 2.3 liter. I wish mustangs had a v6 cuz when someone asks an I reply "4 cylinder" they chuckle. But this cars fast..but I don't race etc cuz I'm 15 at the moment.

LOL, no your car is not supercharged. It packs a whopping a 88 HP. To put that into perspective, the current Ford Focus makes 160 HP. If you think this car is fast, then you've never been in fast car before, or have impossibly low standards.

Hayden, Unfortunate, your mustang is NOT super charged. A super charger is a belt driven ad on that forces air into your system. A K&N air filter uses the air that is drawn into your car by either driving it, or idling it.

People chuckling at you don't realize that that little 4cyl engine with a turbo installed will smoke just about anything out there

It isn't turbocharged either. Ford stopped making the turbo version before your car was made. It looks like it makes 88hp.
