Now that gas prices are falling, why does the media not mention it. Romney will try to take credit anyway?

Everything that goes wrong is always the President's fault.....but when something goes right, nobody seems to notice.

Update:

Additional data.....Check around. It may be high where you live because of state and local taxes .....but they are falling. 3.15.gal.

Media focuses on the negative. That's (sadly) what people want to see.

The president has no say in gas pricesunless he strains foriegn relations with countries who export gas then those countries might raise prices

the media does not report on it because all the media wants to do is scare you that is why they always say severe weather not just weather and they blow stuff out of proportion so you go out and by 10 of what you already have

President Obama let the nation know that commodity speculators in oil were the main cause of the spike in gasoline prices, he recently credited commodity speculators for the rapid decline in gasoline prices.

Source(s): Of course, part 2 of that statement was in jest.

In the long run prices are going up due to monetization of our government's massive and growing expenditures. Middle class and poor get slowly more screwed.

I haven't noticed any falling gas prices. Still going up and up.

No way Romney can take credit and Obama can't either since its his stated goal to have prices at 8 dollars a gallon or more.

Maybe it's because not everyone is stupid enough to believe that Barack Hussein Obama or any other politician controls gas prices.

Gas prices are falling because their is a glut of it and no body has money to buy it .

Gas is not falling where I live.

@ Thor - Uh... yeah they do. In tandem with other politicians they create policies that have tremendous influence on gas prices. Why do you think Europeans pay outrageous rates per liter?
