Has anyone prepared for an Apocalypse 2012?

I've got my lawn chair nailed to my roof and popcorn bags ready to be popped. I'm gonna have some fun watching.

What makes anyone assume they can prepare for the unknown? We know people who have literally stocked their homes so chock-a-block full of "necessary supplies", they cannot live in them without extreme difficulty. They are living for a tomorrow that may not happen in their lifetimes, while bypassing living for today which IS happening. Do I envy them their "stuff"? HA! HA!!

The more you give away the better you feel. Honest. After being tied to a farm for the last 45 years, its enlightening to be given the freedom of movement since we sold it! Not that we didn't thoroughly enjoy living that life and wouldn't change a thing, but now that we've let go of it? Life is so much.... richer and more rewarding!

It's all just "stuff". The only thing you will take with you to eternity is love. Do people follow you with thimbles or dump trucks?

If that's genuine (international ending in 2012), meaning there is merely not any further booze produced. I make my own wine, so i'm preparing in stocking up on booze by using conserving wild berries into wine while they arrive in season. You never comprehend, i are able to do slightly bit bartering with it, say, commerce some bottles for a effective pair of slightly used footwear or some thing. I stay properly inland so is merely not as affected while the icecaps cave in.
