Why do people still ask...?

what proof and evidence do you have for atheism?

It just doesn't work.

Imagine a civilization in a universe where no one believes in a god , and there is no god.

By default, everyone is a atheist. But there is no such word.

Somebody creates a religion with a deity.

He preaches his religion to the crowd.

And as expected, they reject.

He ask them "What proof and evidence that he doesn't exist?!?!?!?!?"

If I understand your question, then when you say "by default, everyone is a atheist," it has a semantic element. If there is no god, then there shouldn't be a word. For instance, on a planet with no meat, everyone is a vegetarian by default. There would be no word for non-meateater or non-vegetarian.

We have no proof that there isn't an invisible, intangible Leprechaun on my shoulder either.

Must we give ever insane, unfalsifiable idea a soapbox because we can't "prove" it wrong?
