Laurence F. is crammed with some thing unsightly. The suffix -ise is spelled incorrect in BRITAIN! As a suffix, it became into borrowed from Greek -iz-. The Greek suffix is spelled with "z", so people basically CORRECTED the British blunders. And American English contrasts with BRITISH English, no longer "English". English became into no longer "a artifical venture", yet is an instantaneous descendant of Low German dialects of the 6th century. the place became into he while this became into being taught at school? probable out on the playground smoking cigarettes.
