Are you a Peter Schilling fan?
I think one of the major under appreciated artists of the 1980's was Peter Schilling. I'm a big fan of his music even though his "Let's Play USA" track irritates me.
Any background info on him? Isn't he German? How many albums released in the U.S. market and how successful were they?

You are correct. he was born in Stuttgart Germany. His 1983 album (Error in The System) was his only album to have success in north america. The single (Major Tom) coming home was his only internationally succesful song. since that album the majority of his music has been in german and has garnered no success in north america.
