I'm friendly and fun loving! I love to help with questions regarding fashion, shoes, nails and all things related! I can answer almost any question regarding acrylic nails because I've had mine for a long time and I love them. I like to read and watch educational TV. I'm a news junkie and try to keep up with current events in the U.S. and all over the world. I spends lots of time on the internet visiting sites like Yahoo! Answers and similar sites to try and help others. I like all kinds of music and I'm a child of the 80's so that's some of my fave music. I like select pop music and I'm a big fan of indie rock. I'm pretty knowledgable about computers so I will occasionally hop on over to answer questions there. I've just recently started doing some simple painting and I'm enjoying it. I also like to read and study geography and oceanography. I enjoy shopping and I love to go and get my nails & toes done every two weeks. You may contact me thr
These overalls to a family reunion (pic included)?
I have a family reunion coming up and I'm going to see family I haven't seen in a long time. I wanted something cute and different to wear that wasn't a dress or same old jeans I always wear. So I bought these really cute overalls for something different to wear. I think they are cute and even a little bit sexy. They expose my upper chest and shoulders and my back so I will wear a low cut top for coverage and they button up the front from my crotch to the top. They are pretty tight and then flare out below my knees into bell bottom leg openings. They are extremely long with a 36 in. inseam and I'm not that tall so I plan to wear 6 inch platform heels with them but they will be hidden because of the long pants length. These are supposed to be feminine and worn with heels and I don't want to hem them just for wearing to the reunion and they are way too long for flat shoes. The reunion will be at a park in a large gazebo type thing we have rented for the day and we'll have food catered in. I'll spend most of my time on concrete so not too worried about my high heels on uneven ground but i just want to know is this outfit cute? Any suggestions? My hair will be in a ponytail and I'll be wearing my usual makeup and acrylic French tip nails. Should I add anything else to this outfit to make it cuter? Thanks! :-)

3 AnswersFashion & Accessories7 years agoRed Light Skin Therapy, will it damage my fake nails (acrylics)?
Hi
My sister has booked herself and me an appointment at one of these spas that does these high-tech skin therapies. One of the services is called "red light therapy". From what I understand about it, you are supposed to stand in this thing that looks like a tanning bed except it's vertical. It has these red LED lights and you stand in it for like 15 minutes and it re-freshens your skin. Has anyone ever tried this before? Does it work? Am I supposed to be naked or can I wear a bra and panties? My sister and I both have acrylic nails, will it damage our fake nails?
Thanks! 10 points! :-)

1 AnswerOther - Beauty & Style8 years agoPajama outfit okay for work?
I recently got these pajamas at Dillards and originally planned to wear them only as pajamas or lounge wear. When I got them home I decided to try them on dressed up as a possible outfit for work. After adding nice jewelry and some nice high heels the outfit looked like it could be safely worn to my work. The pajamas are super comfy and I'm thinking that if dressed up right I could have a comfy but also appropriate work outfit here. The pants are bootcut and are long enough for heels and the fabric is not sheer so could I get away with wearing this for work? Or would it just look like dressed up pajamas with jewelry and heels?

4 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoI have a question about omelette's at IHOP?
I've heard that IHOP mixes pancake batter in with the eggs they use in their omelette's. Is this true and why would they do that? For texture? Makes the omelette larger/fluffier without adding more eggs?
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes8 years agoHow do trees breathe?
My understanding is that trees "breathe" carbon dioxide through their leaves. Is this true? If true, how do they breathe in winter after they've lost all their leaves? Do they breathe in another form too? Or do trees not even breathe?
Thanks for helpful answers! I will choose a best answer. :-)
5 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agoWhat to wear for playing tennis?
OK, my company is going to be having what they call Country Club day. It's on a Saturday. The day will revolve around gulf and mostly tennis. I'm no good at either but it's supposed to be for fun. The other girls in the company are wearing short type skirts but I don't really want to do that because it's not like I'm a serious tennis player. Do you think it's acceptable to wear some flare leg jeans or maybe some black bootcut type yoga pants instead of a short skirt? I want to fit in but still stay within my comfort zone. So, short skirt, flare jeans or the bootcut yoga pants? I don't want to screw this up cause it's for my job. Thanks! I'll pick a Best Answer!
7 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoHalloween party at my boyfriends work. What should I wear?
This will be held on the 27th at his office starting at 7:00. Obviously we are supposed to dress up but I'm not sure what to wear. He wants me to go as something sexy.
Any ideas? Supposedly anything goes!
Here are some things I'm considering:
Bunny Costume: http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+black+ribbo...
I'd add the gloves and I already have black platform pumps and pantyhose to wear.
This is my bf's choice. To complete the look I'll wear long fake lashes and I already wear french acrylic nails so I'm covered there.
Ghost Costume: http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+sexy+ghost+...
I have the shoes and hose.
Moulin Rouge: http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+moulin+roug...
I'd ditch the hat, wear my own pumps and pantyhose instead of a garterbelt and stockings.
Genie: http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+harem+jewel...
I'd wear flat sandals instead of heels and no hose. This is my conservative choice.
Any other ideas?
Thanks! :-)
7 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoWhat to wear to interview at Victoria's Secret?
Going to interview tomorrow at VS for sales position. I have a lot of past work experience in retail but not at a store like this.
I have a standard interview outfit I usually wear that consists of a plain white blouse with sewn in darts for a nice shape, black soft knit floor-length flare legged pants and plain black 4 inch pumps. I always wear big silver hoops and I have acrylic nails with french tips, hair in a ponytail.
Is this suitable do you think?
Other Options I have are:
black fitted knee-length dress
black pencil skirt a little below the knee with a high slit
black floor-length maxi skirt
short mid-thigh black a-line skirt
black palazzo pants, white/blue patterned palazzo pants and black palazzos with small orange polka dots
grey,or black straight leg pants
red and brown wide leg pants
tan linen wide leg pants
black flare yoga pants
light blue and dark blue flare leg jeans
Black and grey fitted single button blazers, black ribbed cardi, light blue/grey extra long open front cardi with asymetrical hem, horizontal striped boatneck tops in blue/black and orange/pink/white and lots of solid color knit tees in light blue, black, yellow and white.
I only wear heels and have wedges, booties, sandals and pumps, some with platforms. Heels range from 2 inches to 7 inches.
Pantyhose or not? I have black, tan, barely there beige and ultra sheer nude.
My jewlery, hair, makeup and nails are decided on.
Those are my choices from what i already have.
Thanks! I always choose a best answer!!! :-)

4 AnswersPhysics9 years agoWhat to wear to the horse races?
My company (the owner will be there too) has invited the employees to the horse races this coming Sunday. I've been to the track once before with my family like 5 or 6 years ago. The only thing I remember is that it was hot and I lost $$$.
I'm used to dressing up very nicely for work in a professional setting so I don't want to be too terribly casual for this event but not over-dressed either. It will be hot for sure but I don't want to wear any kind of shorts or cropped pants. I hate them and don't own any. If I wear pants they will need to be long pants. Also, I don't wear skinny jeans. I'm 37.
I have a few ideas in mind.
1. A summery knee-length dress, bare legs (normally wear hose to work), and flat sandals. I have high heeled sandals too about 4 inches I can wear if you think that's better. I will be getting a pedi before going of course.
2. a lightweight striped color-block top with pink, white and orange diagnal stripes (very cool), light blue American Eagle flare leg jeans and 3 inch pink wedge flip flops (because my jeans are way too long for flats but will probably drag the ground anyway).
3. a solid dark blue tank with some new blue/white patterned palazzo pants and white 5 inch platform high heeled sandals. I have to wear heels with these pants.
4. a white cap sleeve tee, black flare leg yoga pants and black platform wedge flip flops.
Finally, the same white tee as above but with a short bodycon knit skirt mid thigh, bare legs and the same black wedge flip flops from above.
Opinions or suggestions for changing these outfits are welcome or creating a new one or pick an outfit from above. Please no rude answers and stay on topic. Thanks! I always choose a best answer so your time will not be waisted I promise :-)
1 AnswerHorse Racing9 years agoCourtroom attire for female attorney's?
I was called in for jury duty a while back. I didn't actually serve on a jury but was there for 1/2 the day. I saw many female attorney's throughout the day and saw a huge range and mix of clothing. I'm wondering if there is any "gold standard" for courtroom attire. I know some of the obvious "no no's" but what is the standard? I saw skirt suits, pant suits, dress separates with blazers and blouses with either skirts or pants. Some had bare legs and some had pantyhose. Some were even wearing flats instead of heels with their pants.
Just curious if it matters what you wear anymore? Everything seems more casual.
4 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoFood Safety with Acrylic Nails?
Hi! I have acrylic nails and sometimes I use my hands to mix things such as meatloaf or cornbread dressing and other things. I do this because my hands mix better than any spoon can and professional chefs always suggest that your hands are the best mixing tools we have.
While preparing a meatloaf recently my sister mentioned that acrylic nails harbor more bacteria and can cause unsanitary food prep conditions. She wears acrylics too but she wears gloves during food prep. Are acrylic nails really that bad for food prep? My hands are always very clean and I wash under my nails before handling food. I don't want to wear gloves because I'm afraid the food will get a bad taste from the glove material.
Removing my nails is not an option. What should I do other than just making sure my hands are super clean? No one has ever gotten sick off my cooking by the way.

3 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoDo your office pants cover your shoes?
It seems like most women either love this look or hate it with no in-betweens.
So, for your work/office pants, do you like them to cover your shoes completely for a long & lean look that has them dragging or grazing the floor? (OR) Do you like them to stop just short of the floor or even shorter like mid-heel?
All my work pants cover my shoes and graze the floor or drag slightly and this is the look I see most often. How about you?
What length do you like for your work/office pants?

1 AnswerFashion & Accessories9 years agoAre you a Peter Schilling fan?
I think one of the major under appreciated artists of the 1980's was Peter Schilling. I'm a big fan of his music even though his "Let's Play USA" track irritates me.
Any background info on him? Isn't he German? How many albums released in the U.S. market and how successful were they?
What's he doing now?
Are you a fan?
10 points for complete info! Thanks!
