Help! We need an offensive minded defenceman in Calgary. Any suggestions around 4 mil cap hit?

The only one of the top 30 scoring defencemen from last year that are UFA's this year is Wideman. He should sign for about $6MM over 6 years. so he is out of your reach. Filip Kuba was in the mid 30's in scoring and at 35 years old he might sign for about $4MM. But your own Brian Connelly at Abbotsford might be your best bet for a lot less than $4MM.

Chris Campoli , he will want about 1.5M. He averages about 15-20pts a season. Not necessarly a specialist. If you want a real OFD you'll have to sign Souray or trade for someone. Yannick Weber maybe? Diaz?
