Heaven: Which Church is the best one to donate money to?
I just got an email message from a Solicitor, Smith Hans esq who said I've inherited 6.350 MIllion Euro from a long lost relative or something.
Nice Chap, but I think I'm going to have to go OS to collect as there seems to be a problem with the bank transfers. I've been waiting weeks.
Anyway, I don't need the money and there are more needy people than me, so I was wondering which Church to donate the proceeds of my good fortune to?
All I need in return is an around the World airfare and a little bit of accomodation paid in advance and I'll be on my way to making a difference in other people's lives.
So.... suggestions? C'mon. Who's got the Church that's most worthy of my gracious generosity?

You can not buy your way to everlasting life. (But likely you know this & your question is just sarcasm huh) After all, Jesus said 'You receive free, give free' (Matt 10:8), condemned the Pharisees for trying to make money off of the people & being corrupt (Matt 20:12-13), & instead said the way to everlasting life was taking in knowledge of God & his purpose (John 17:3). I know, clearly there are not many religions that do things Jesus' way- shame on them, that's one of the reasons religion has such a bad rap. I think it's disgusting how most churches charge for funerals & weddings even.
But I can say that not ALL religions are like that- the ministers & elders & other volunteers in my religion follow Jesus way of things & therefore do not get paid for their services. And the time they spend in the ministry is volunteer only. They work full-time secularly to take care of themselves & their families just like anyone else, in addition to spending much of their spare time in their volunteer congregational services.
Anyway, as far as your not-real-question goes, 1)enjoy everyone's lets-all-jump-on-the-bash-religion bandwagon answers you are sure to get as I'm sure that's what you are looking for right, 2)we all know your too smart to fall for the 'email inheritance scam' anyway, (isn't everyone by now??), so come on you should have thought of something else more realistic, it would have been more fun, 3)remember, not all religion is corrupt... just most of it- time to weed out the counterfeit from the genuine, 4) clearly you care enough about it to spend time in the Religious forum in Yahoo Answers, or else why would you be here in the first place- someone who doesn't care, would be spending their time doing things they do care about.... no shame in admitting you're searching for truth. ;)

donating money to a church wont do nothing, but you could donate it to a small church or the one that you know some people go to. what I would do is go on your around the world trip and help people :) (I am a Christian btw, just so u dont think I am some random person who doesnt want you to donate money to a church)

I don't believe you . But any money you have you can give the tithes and offerings of it to the only true Church of Jesus Christ @ P.O. Box 14 , Independence , Mo. 64051 . But you will have to click on my answers on this subject for evidence of my claim .
