Yes. Obesity increases one's risk of cardiovascular, skeletal and other health problems that otherwise would bypass the body, allowing me to feel better and to function more efficiently in daily tasks. Overcoming obesity and overweight has removed nearly every symptom of pain I have experienced in over 55 years. The negative effects of being overweight on the human body are not over emphasized. Neither are they taken seriously enough by entities which could impact upon this widespread problem.

Of course, that would be unhealthy. Just stay healthy--being chubby should be the most you can get with your weight. Being overweight is a threat to one's health and life.
