Am i developing insomnia?
The past few weeks I haven't been able to sleep in, and its summer! I'm a teen, so I know I need more sleep than I'm getting. I usually wake up in the middle of the night, but I've done that my whole life. Today I really tried to sleep later, and ever since I've woke up I've been so so so tired. Idk what causes things like this.....if anyone has experienced this or knows about it, id appreciate some feedback. Thanks in advance :)

No. Insomnia is when you are literally wide awake all night and can not sleep.

Try:
Avoid watching TV just before bedtime.
Do a little physical exercise late in the day.
Don't eat a big meal before bedtime.
Take a warm shower just before bedtime.
Drink a half cup of warm milk before getting into bed -- just drink it a few sips at a time.
Turn out your light when going to sleep; don't have any distractions such as a radio or TV going on in your bedroom.

Insomnia is often caused by a vitamin deficiency, also having just a small vitamin deficiency could cause muscle tension along with insomnia it would be wise to go to see a doctor where you can test for a vitamin deficiency. Vitamin D is usually a cause, Calcium Deficiency can cause quite a few things one particular being insomnia. Go to your doctor purely to be safe. Hope that helps.
