Fell asleep with my contacts in :/?
I kinda sorta fell asleep and when I woke up I could hardly open my eye, my left eye hurts but my right eye feels normal. I rinsed out my eyes with my contact solution and removed my contacts and now my one eye hurts REALLY bad in light. It waters and stings and just hurts. So, do I keep rinsing my left eye out, should I stay away from
Light or try exposing it? I can't go to town right now cause everything is closed but I have to work at my pt job tomorrow and there is a lot of exposed light... Any tips, tricks or "home remedies"?

ive had contacts for about 5 years and i must say, this used to happen to me a lot at first when i forgot i had them in and slept in them. My doctor told me all i can do is put drops in them to moisturize them and keep my contacts out of my eyes until the redness and burning stop. if that means a few days then so be it. And it worked. so wear glasses instead for a few days
