Have a question about mold?
We just got a new/used bed less than a year ago.
Its a no flip king size.
We've had it against the wall. One side of bed and head of bed.
I pulled bed out frm wall other day to turn mattress not flip. And side that was against wall and head o bed had some mold on them.
It was so friggin gross.
Is it possiable theres mold in the walls?
Or what else could it b?
Thanks

Yes, it is possible there is mold IN the wall. Mold thrive on cellulose from sheetrock. The mattress may not be salvageable but the wall could still be. It all depends on how extensive the mold is. Here are a couple of links that might help you get rid of the mold.

Check in between the seams of the mattress and everywhere around your bed especially in cracks and crevices, it could be BB
It could also be mold. But if it is mold then there has to be a source of wetness getting to the mattress
Mold happens when moisture gets trapped in something and can not be dried in time. Also does the mattress have these spots as well as the wall.
It could be mold or BB. So check it out completely either way it can be damaging

It probably is mold outside walls can tend to be damp
This needs cleaning with bleach in water and a soft cloth
You should also move your bed to an internal wall
